Frequently Asked Questions About Google Ad Grants

Clear answers about the grant, timelines, ownership, and our working model.

Is this $10,000 in cash?

No. It is advertising budget inside Google Ads used for Search advertising. It is not a cash payment or reimbursement.

How long does the launch take?

The typical implementation window is up to 3 months. Timing depends on organization and website readiness, the work required, information delivery, and Google’s review timelines.

When do we pay?

Standard launch projects do not require upfront payment. Payment begins after a confirmed Google milestone and completion of the agreed work for the relevant stage.

Do we need a monthly management contract?

No. Ongoing management is not mandatory. After launch, your organization can manage the account internally or engage us separately.

Who owns the account after launch?

Your organization retains control of its website, Google for Nonprofits, Google Ads, and all other assets created during the project.

Can you help with Google Workspace for Nonprofits?

Yes. We can review this opportunity in the initial assessment. Eligible organizations can access a no-cost edition with professional Gmail and other Workspace tools.

What if the process has stalled or the account is restricted?

We can assess the website, policy compliance, tracking, advertising structure, and reasons behind a rejection or restriction, then recommend next steps.

Can you work with a business involved in a charitable mission?

Yes, when it runs a separate initiative through an eligible nonprofit structure. Nonprofit and commercial activity must remain clearly separated.
